In December I finally completed a degree in K-12 Special Education.

Having some extra free time now is amazing!

About Me

My name is Janet. I was born in Arizona and raised in the Midwest. I'm a teacher/catechist and mother of 5 grown "children" by day and a writer/poet at night. This blog started as a way to share my writing with friends and family. It has become a place to collect my published work. In 2023 my blog posts stopped while I focused on finishing a manuscript. I'm a member of the NE Writers Guild (NWG) and the NE Poetry Society. Over 60 of my poems and personal narratives have been published in magazines, compilation books, anthologies, and online. Many have been included in Your Country Neighbor, a rural southeast Nebraska monthly publication. Thanks for stopping by to see my work!
